About the Role
The Role:
We are currently looking for a Senior Talent Manager - Team Lead for our Agency. Must be a positive, creative, funny and dedicated hard worker who can balance a multitude of tasks in an extremely fast work paced environment. The incumbent should possess a strong understanding of social media marketing, brand partnerships, talent management, talent representation, contract negotiations and have an existing deep network of social media influencers as well as experience in managing a team.
Responsibilities include:
- Be the main point of contact as Team Lead for your team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and key metrics.
- Discovering and signing top tier influencers who are looking for business management.
- Represent the business and brands of leading social media personalities.
- Manage a large team of talent coordinators, talent agents and talent managers.
- Stay on top of trends in the influencer marketing space.
- Present and assist with the execution of growth strategies for top tier influencers.
- Identify and communicate key value propositions of talent to senior leadership in a clear way.
- Perform other duties as needed or as directed.
- Leverage existing relationships with brand and agency contacts for deal flow and revenue quotas.
- Confirm all requirements and logistics of campaigns.
Requirements
Minimum five (5) years experience in talent management/talent representation of Social Media Influencers and/or celebrities.
The candidate must have a university degree or college diploma and/or equivalent experience.
Must have an existing deep network of social media influencers and talent.
Must have 4+ years experience professionally managing brand partnerships and in talent management (preferably at an agency).
Prior success marketing to and closing top level decision makers at small/medium sized businesses and cultivating mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach.
Experience with legal negotiations and drafting agreements is a plus.
